Gmail, Drive, and Sheets working together, no copy and paste
Many businesses run on Google Sheets, Gmail, and Drive, but every piece of data passes through someone’s hands. We automate Google Workspace with Apps Script and integrations: sheets that receive data from forms and systems, emails that are sorted and answered with templates, documents and contracts generated from a template, and Drive folders created for each client. In many cases there are no additional licenses, because the tools are already in your account.

How we automate your Google Workspace
We start with the process that takes up the most of your time, automate it, measure the savings, and move on to the next one. No never-ending projects.
-
Step 1: Process mapping
We look at how the task is done today, who does it, how long it takes, and which tools it lives in.
You: walk us through the process step by step
You get: a process map and the current time spent -
Step 2: Workflow design
We define triggers, rules, exceptions, and the points where a person steps in.
You: validate the rules and exceptions
You get: a diagram of the automated workflow -
Step 3: Build and testing
We build the workflow with test data and run it alongside the manual process.
You: review the test results
You get: an automation working in testing -
Step 4: Go-live
We activate the workflow, set up error alerts, and train whoever supervises it.
You: appoint an internal owner
You get: a live workflow and an operations guide -
Step 5: Measurement and fine-tuning
We compare time spent and errors before and after, and fine-tune as needed.
You: report special cases to us
You get: a savings report and adjustments
Apps Script vs. a workflow platform
For Google Workspace, a script is sometimes enough; other times you need something more.
| Aspect | External platform (n8n or Make) | Apps Script inside Google |
|---|---|---|
| Additional cost | A separate subscription or server. | Usually none; it runs in your account. |
| Best for | Workflows that span many apps. | Tasks inside Sheets, Gmail, Drive, and Docs. |
| Maintenance | Visual workflow editor. | Documented code that we hand over. |
| Limits | Few execution limits. | Google’s daily quotas based on your plan. |

FAQ about Google Workspace automation
Can’t find your question?
Message an advisor and we’ll get back to you during business hours (Bogotá time, UTC-5).
What is Google Apps Script?
It’s the programming language built into Google Workspace. It lets Sheets, Gmail, Drive, Docs, and Calendar run tasks on their own and connect with other systems.
Does it work with free Gmail accounts?
Many automations do, though with lower quotas. For business use we recommend Google Workspace, which gives you more capacity and security controls.
Can my team edit what you build?
We hand over documented code, and for simple adjustments like text or recipients, we put the parameters in a configuration sheet.
How is it different from Power Automate?
It’s the Google equivalent. If your business runs on Microsoft 365, Power Automate is the better fit; if it runs on Google, Apps Script is usually the most direct route.
How much does it cost?
It depends on the number of tasks, the external integrations, and how complex the templates are. Once we understand your case, we give you a fixed-price proposal.
What else is Google Workspace automation called?
People also search for this as Google Apps Script, Google Sheets automation, Gmail automation, or Google Drive workflows. It relates to REST APIs, webhooks, Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, and data sync, topics we review with you when the project calls for them.
