Technical website audit FAQ

Can’t find your question?

Message an advisor and we’ll get back to you during business hours (Bogotá time, UTC-5).

How is it different from an SEO audit?

A technical audit reviews the entire website: speed, security, platform, accessibility, and technical SEO foundation. A professional SEO audit goes deeper into rankings: keywords, content, links, and competition.

Do you need admin access to the website?

Not necessarily. Many checks can be done from the outside; to review versions, plugins, and internal security, we do ask for read-only access or a copy of the website.

Do you fix what you find?

Yes, if you’d like, under a separate proposal. The report is written so any provider can implement the recommendations.

How long does it take?

It depends on the size of the website and the scope. We give you a delivery date once the scope is defined.

Does it work for websites on any platform?

Yes: WordPress, online stores, custom builds, or website builders. With builders, some fixes depend on what the platform allows, and we’ll let you know.

What other names is a technical website audit known by?

It’s also known as a technical website review, website assessment, or website audit. It relates to responsive design, WordPress, on-page SEO, hosting and domains, page load speed, and WhatsApp buttons, topics we review with you when the project calls for them.

Which of these services do you need?

Audits: these services are related, but they solve different problems. Choose based on what you need.

  • If you need to know why you’re not ranking and what to fix first: Professional SEO audit
  • If you need to review security, errors, plugins, and your website’s technical health: Technical website audit (you are here)
  • If you need ongoing fixes for crawling, indexing, and speed: Technical SEO
